Girls In Aviation Day (GIAD) 2024 @ Bowman Field

We are a motivated and diverse group of aviation enthusiasts who support women in the aviation industry. We are holding our 6th annual Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD) event. We want to continue to make this event free to young girls ages 8 to 17 years old. We are excited to have several aviation booths setup where the girls can interact with aviationists. We want them to see that there are exciting aviation careers available to them. It will be a fun day of learning, exploring, and inspiration.We need help from the local community to make this a successful event as we need monetary and voluntary support. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out. Our GIAD event will be held at the Old Terminal Building at Bowman Field, located at 2815 Taylorsville Rd. Louisville, KY. It will take place from 12-4pm on Saturday, September 21st. We hope to see you there.
